- 1 gal Kombucha
- 57 tbsp Chia seeds ($0.47 per oz.)
Instructions
- Add chia seeds and Kombucha to a masonjar Add 3 tbsp. of chia seeds to a mason jar. Use a slightlylarge mason jar because chia seeds will expand as they hydrate. Next, add 1 cupof flavored Kombucha to the jar. Then, stir the mixture with a spoon.
- Stir every 10 minutes Let the chia seeds soak in the flavored Kombucha liquid for 10minutes before stirring. Chia seeds can get sticky as they absorb moisture soyou need to stir them to prevent them from clumping. If the chia seeds clump,they may not plump up and will remain hard. Overall, it takes 20 minutes andmore to hydrate all the chia seeds.
